Bryant Ayala
Teacher at Lines Dance Academy
Bryant Ayala was born and raised in Hillsboro, Oregon. Growing up, Latin music and dance were always a big part of his life. His parents owned a dance studio, Lines Dance Academy, where Bryant took his first dance steps and developed a passion for Salsa and Bachata.
This passion drove him to travel around the world, training under various dance instructors to refine his style. His journey has taken him to Italy, Colombia, Spain, and Mexico, learning from some of the best in Latin dance and bringing that knowledge back to Hillsboro.
After years of training, Bryant began competing, and by his third year of dancing, he was participating in competitions such as Euroson Mexico, Las Vegas Salsa Congress, and World Latin Dance Cup Miami. Today, he is a 5-time world champion in Salsa and Bachata.
Bryant is now the co-owner, director, and teacher at Lines Dance Academy, where he teaches social Salsa and Bachata, and directs dance teams for competitions and showcases.
Fun fact: Before discovering dance, Bryant boxed for 10 years, eventually becoming a national USA boxing champion proving he knows both rhythm and power!
