History

Lines Dance Academy (LDA) is a family owned and operated dance studio in the heart of Downtown Portland and Hillsboro.
LDA started out of pure passion for Latin Dance. Director Analine Villaraldo, a native of Puebla Mexico, made Oregon her home at the young age of 16. Like many other bright-eyed teenagers, she had big dreams of continuing dance.  For the last 25 years she has done exactly that. Anita has worked closely with the Latino Community teaching Latin dance and helping young girls fulfill their Quincenera dreams. 

LDA is a worldwide recognized dance studio. We've competed and won over 30 prestigious Latin Dance title from around the world and home some of the most recognizable names in modern Latin Dance. 

Currently, we offer dance instruction for all ages in the styles of: Salsa, Bachata, Fusion Latino, Danza Folklorico and Cumbia.

Our awards show case the  quality of dance and instruction we offer. One thing we always strive is for cultivating a community that is fun, inviting and nurtures growth.

We take pride in our strong programs for youth and how they can further develop leadership skills, confidence along with dance skills. We have produced world class dancers from these programs.
