The Fayette County Attorneys Office provides legal services for Fayette County residents in the area of domestic violence, child support enforcement, delinquent taxes (property taxes), juvenile misdemeanor cases, cold checks, and criminal prosecution.

A volunteer attorney program for civil legal assistance to low income Fayette County residents who meet the federal poverty financial guidelines. The program runs Monday thru Friday 830 am - 12 pm and 1 pm - 3 pm.

LAB offers civil legal services to low-income persons who meet federal poverty guidelines.

Micah Legal is a non-profit sliding scale (income based) law firm. They can help with things like wills, power of attorney, divorce and family law, expungement, and more.

ICJ is an organization of attorneys devoted to securing justice for young people in Kentucky through advocacy, education, and legal representation. ICJ provides necessary legal representation regardless of ability to pay.

CLC is a non-profit legal service center protecting the rights of children and youth to help them overcome barriers and transition into adulthood, better advocate for their needs, and successfully contribute to society. They provide legal advocacy to children and youth and seek to improve the systems that serve them.

KYLP offers legal aid for LBGTQ+ youth in Kentucky. (site is down as of 12/15/2021)

Maxwell Street Legal Clinic is part of KEJC (Kentucky Equal Justice Center). They offer low cost immigration legal assistance for the immigrant and refugee communities of Kentucky.

Neighbors Immigration Clinic offers low cost legal services to low-income immigrants in Kentucky (Lexington, Eastern Kentucky, Northern Kentucky, and beyond). NIC's work also includes advocating for immigrant rights and offering education to communities of faith and the public.

KRM (Kentucky Refugee Ministries) is a non-profit that provides services and resources to refugees and asylees in Lexington. One of the resources is immigration legal aid. The services are fee based. Some of the services include help with Employment Authorization Document (EAD), permanent residency (green card), family reunification, citizenship, and more.

The UK Law School Legal clinic is not currently operational (12/15/2021) while they look to hire a new supervisor.

P&A is the designated protection and advocacy system in Kentucky, based in Frankfort. P&A protects and promotes the rights of Kentuckians with disabilities through information and referral, technical assistance, education and training, and legal advocacy.

The Lexington Fair Housing Council is a nonprofit civil rights agency that investigates complaints of housing discrimination throughout Kentucky.
