Children of single parents between the ages of 6-13 are partnered with adult volunteers who will be a friend and mentor on the journey from childhood to adulthood.

Also known as the Center for Women, Children, and Families (CWCF), the nest offers short term child care as well as general counseling for women, children, and families surrounding issues like childhood trauma, domestic violence, etc. Counseling is offered free of charge. Parenting classes and case management is also available.

This agency advocates for children who have been sexually abused and their families. They coordinate medical, mental health, legal, law enforcement, and counseling services all at once.

LFUCG Family Care Center offers a wide variety of services for three divisions. Adults & tenants, families and youth services, and senior citizens. Services range from utility and relocation services, language interpretation, medical and dental care for teen mothers and children, preschool and childcare, summer youth employment, and other youth programs.

The HANDS program is a voluntary home visitation program for any new or expectant parents. HANDS supports families as they build healthy, safe environments for optimal growth and development for children. The trained nurse and early childhood educator can answer questions, improve school readiness, and improve maternal and child health. There is no cost to families and non-English speaking services are available.
