FIND WHAT YOU NEED
Welcome to the Lexington Resource Library! Here you will find links to resources for those in Lexington, Kentucky. Some of the resources will require referrals or proof of residency and some will be open to anyone.
To navigate this website, you will click on the 3 lines on the top left (if you are on a phone or tablet) and it will bring down all of the sections we have resources for. Click on the section you are needing and then explore what resources are available. If you are using a desktop the sections will be listed on the left-hand side of the screen.
What this Resource Library is for: helping people find resources they are eligible for and working to find resources available to everyone regardless of income, sobriety, or housing status.
What this Resource Library is not for: sending this to folks in need who don't have the capacity (physically, mentally, or otherwise) to use it to its full potential. It should not be given in place of direct aid to unhoused people. If you see someone asking for money or help on a street corner, do not give them this link and tell them to find what they need. Give them cash or whatever you have on you and if you have time and feel comfortable ask them if they'd like help finding resources, then respect their answer. This applies to folks online as well. Don't assume someone's situation.
If you need help finding what you need, please fill out the Assistance form. If you have a lead on a resource not listed in this library, please fill out the New Resource form!
We have tried to make this site as easy to use as possible. If you have any feedback on the usability of the site, please fill out this form. (click the words and it will take you to the form) Depending on what device you are using there are a couple ways to use the site.
IF YOU ARE ON A PHONE OR TABLET: The screen you are on is the main screen. On the top left there are three little lines. Click that and it will bring up all of the categories of resources we have. Click on the category you want to see and it will take you to that page. All resources will have a photo, title, and description. All of the images (unless otherwise noted) and titles are clickable, so clicking on them will take you to the website associated with that resource. There is also a search button (looks like a magnifying glass) on the top right, you can click on that and search any word you are looking for (like housing, food, clothing, etc) and it will bring up all of the items related to that word.
IF YOU ARE ON A DESKTOP: The list of categories for resources will be displayed on the left hand side of the screen. Click on the category you want to see and it will take you to that page. All resources will have a photo, title, and description. All of the images (unless otherwise noted) and titles are clickable, so clicking on them will take you to the website associated with that resource.
