NewVista provides counseling services for mental health, children/adolescent issues, parenting education, personal, marital, and family counseling on a sliding scale fee. They also offer a 24 hour crisis line and Narcotic Addiction Program.

Ampersand offers services to those who have experienced sexual abuse, such as education, training, and therapeutic healing. It strives to provide comprehensive services to all rape victims and rape awareness/education to the entire community. Services include a 24 hour crisis line, medical accompaniment, legal advocacy, crisis counseling, psychotherapy, consolation, community education, support groups, and professional training. All services are free.

The Jesse Harris Psychological Services Center is an adult and child group therapy service affiliated with the University of Kentucky Department of Psychology. The therapists are doctoral students in clinical psychology at UK who are supervised by licensed clinical psychologists. Fees vary for each group, a sliding scale fee is available based on income, and acceptance for treatment is not based on ability to pay.

NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) offers support for those experiencing or are affected by mental illness. Support includes group therapy and a speaker program.
