Students prepare and deliver a TED-style talk in which they present their research findings and propose evidence-based actions. They apply public speaking strategies and multimedia tools to communicate their ideas effectively to an audience.
What does “research” mean to you?
Can you think of a time when you had to investigate or find information about something?
Where do you usually look for information when you have a question?
How do you know if information is reliable or trustworthy?
Why do you think asking questions is important for learning?
What kind of topics are you curious about or would like to learn more about?
How can research help us make better decisions in everyday life?
As a family, how can we support curiosity and learning at home?
