Wifi Cracking

Using cheap hardware and freely available software, it is possible to do bad things to wireless communications like wifi. You can eavesdrop on traffic to steal information or credentials; you can even break into a wireless network and attack it from within.

This session will demonstrate some of the basic tools that allow attackers to break into wifi communications.

Session run by: Austin Chamberlain

Austin studied computer science and electronics at university, and started work in the system administration field. In the last few years he has moved into information security, mostly on the technical side.
