Maker Craft: Star Wars Day Edge-Lit Pendants

 Celebrate STAR WARS DAY on May the 4th at the 

Creation Station by making a Jedi, Rebel or Empire inspired Edge-Lit Pendant. 

2025 also marks the 20th Anniversary of Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, which will be playing throughout the craft program.

Pendant Designs Available:

Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, Boba Fett, Yoda, Grogu, BB-8, R2-D2, C3-PO, 1st Order, Empire, Rebels, X-Wing, X-Wing Pilot, Admiral Ackbar, Jar Jar Binks, Chewbacca, Princess Leia, STAR WARS, Light Sabers, Death Star, Stormtrooper, TIE-Fighter, AT-AT, Battle Droid, Pit Droid, Ewok, Millenium Falcon, Mythosaur, Tusken Raider

Patrons must be at least 7 years of age to enter the Creation Station's MakerSpace room.  

Anyone under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Ozobots After School: Back-2-Basics

If you have missed any of our previous OZOBOTs After School programs, this month is the perfect time to drop in as we are starting with the basics.

Learn how to use markers and color block code to program a small robot.

Limited number of Ozobots, so there may be some wait times

MakerSpace Camp: 3D Printing & TinkerCAD

Join the Creation Station staff for our 

MakerSpace Camp on 3D Printing & TinkerCAD.

This popular MakerSpace Camp will go over the basics of 3D Printing. Makers will need to select a print from our pre-approved files that 

can be found on our website or a small simple print that can be completed in about (1) hour.

While files are being printed, our technicians will share how 

3D Printing is used in different careers and give a small lesson on creating 3D files in TinkerCAD.

This program is for Makers 7-13 years of age.

$5 Camp Fee | RSVP Required

FAB-Tastic!: Fairy Wings

With a little help from pixie dust and the imagination of our MakerSpace staff, sign up for our FAB-Tastic! workshop where you can learn to build a pair of fairy wings.

Warning: These wings will not allow the wearer the ability to fly or 

access to the land of the Fae.

FAB-Tastic!: Makers, We Shrunk the Creation Station

Oh no!  The shrink ray we built is on the fritz and shrunk all the Makers.

While we wait for it to get repaired, join Creation Station staff as we make oversized crayons and jumbo sewing bobbin art pieces.

Warning: We will be using a heat tool to demonstrate how we cut pool noodle foam into the crayon shape

Maker Craft: Sonic Character Needle Felting

Free | Ages 10+

You better run at Super Sonic Speed for a chance to needle felt your favorite character from the Sonic the Hedgehog universe. 

Choose from Sonic, Tails, Knuckles or Amy. 

Due to the use of barbed needles, our staff recommend that participants be at least 10 years of age and older.
