MakerSpace Camp: Sewing - Felt Pencil Case

On Saturday, July 15, 2023, join the Creation Station staff for our MakerSpace Camp on Sewing.

For the project this month, students will learn how to make a pen/pencil case. Technicians will help with cutting out the pattern from craft felt, making a buttonhole with a sewing machine attachment and hand-sewing a button to close the case.

This program is for makers 7-13 years of age

(Use of sharp scissors, sewing needles, heavy duty sewing machines)

On Saturday, September 30, 2023, join the Creation Station staff for our MakerSpace Camp on Sewing.

This popular MakerSpace Camp will go over the basics of 3D Printing. Makers will need to select a print from our pre-approved files that can be found on our website. Approved 3D Print Files 

While their file is printing, our technicians will share how 3D Printing is used in different careers and give a small lesson on creating 3D files in TinkerCAD.

This program is for makers 7-13 years of age
