Please briefly present the organisation/group (e.g. its type, scope of work, areas of activity and if applicable, approximate number of paid/unpaid staff, learners and members of the group). Cappadocia Education and Research Association (CERA) was established on the 26th of July in 2019 to support and organize activities for Democratic Governance Aiming Community Development, Gender Equality, Basic Adult Training, Adult Protection and Care, Health, Sports, Environmental Sustainability, Human Rights, Increasing Social and Economical Entrepreneurship, Cultural Heritage, Global Warming and Recycling, Unemployment, Foreign Language Teaching and Learning, Protecting and Promoting the disadvantageous adult groups, especially disabled adults, illiterate adults, migrants, women facing social and economic problems. Our association organizes multicultural events, social, sportive and cultural activities for disadvantageous adult groups in society. Our aims are to make disabled people’s life easier in our region and all over the world; to support the active involvement of adults in various areas of public life; to promote personal development and democratic citizenship, volunteering and mobility, sports and healthy lifestyles; to support the development of the abilities and potential of adults from different social and ethnic groups and adults with disabilities. The path to this is participation in various national and international projects, implementation of joint activities in partnerships with other organizations or networks; organizing advocacy campaigns; development and implementation of strategies and programs at local, national and international level. The members of the organization are involved in developing, evaluating and managing various programs and projects in the social sector, education and the media. One of the main priorities of the Cappadocia Education and Research Association (CERA) is developing international partnerships with similar adult organizations, active exchanges of ideas and best practices, creating a rich network of European partners. We stand for the basic human rights and follow the European motto "ENRICH LIVES OPEN MINDS" by promoting European values. We want to be the change for a better future, it’s up to all of us! CERA works to provide all the adults aged from 30 to 80 years in Nevşehir Province, with a range of enjoyable opportunities, challenging experiences and effective support that will enhance their personal, economic, social and educative development and sense of identity. We also work and have great experience in adult education and care. We have a close relation with local organizations and work in community empowerment and development fields about adult education and care. We empower our program facilitators to teach compassionately and meet adults at their confidence and capability level. These acquired skills provide professional development, but also a newfound sense of purpose. Through continued virtual support and quarterly visits, we ensure that our trainers are capable to provide the utmost programming quality. We can build different trainings, educational programs, toolkits and curriculums for disadvantageous adults in society. We are able to share our best practices from our experiences provided by us and our coaches, mentors and trainers. We have experience in soft-skills education, related to: Lifelong learning, Soft skills, Leadership Development, Coaching, Entrepreneurship, Talent Management, Burn-out, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Gender Equality, Digital and Financial Literacy, Social Media/Fake News Literacy, Sports, Critical Thinking, Aging population, Career Advising. CERA works with a wide range of organizations to reach all the disadvantageous adults and provide them with varied and accessible opportunities to learn, enabling them to develop their skills and gain confidence. We believe that we have a huge social responsibility to help each adult discover what they can become good at, to nurture them to achieve and to encourage them to take the risk and try something new. CERA’s main activities are listed below:
• Dissemination of adult entrepreneurship and have the disadvantageous adults gain entrepreneurial skills in order to increase their participation in business life.
• Have the disadvantageous adults gain right advocacy skills in order to decrease violence against people.
• Have the disadvantageous adults gain democratic life skills in order to take part actively in decision mechanisms.
• Establishing sustainable cooperation platforms among environment clubs in order to protect environment and nature.
• Provide techno opportunities to adults to gain permanent hygiene skills.
• Building capacities and creating network in order to prevent disadvantageous adult abuse.
• Dissemination of European and Turkish culture among adults.
CERA organizes many activities such as group meetings, quizzes and riddles, circle and icebreaker games, sketches, pantomime, diverse evening programs, outdoor games, arts, crafts, etc. The other activities of the adult education club in our organisation are as follows:

Our members of the association have carried out many EU mobility projects on adults until now. There are currently 16 members of our association, who consist of project experts, teachers from different branches, special education trainers, academicians and lawyers. The experience and the ability to develop strategies of our members make our association an institution which can deal with all the tasks it takes. Some of our members have participated some Erasmus+ and YiA projects before. Thus, we know the basic partnership rules. We choose projects, partners and topics, which are close to our main intentions. We are used to cooperating from the very beginning (studies of needs, activities, schedules, applications, participants choice, group leading, practical arrangements, evaluation and reflecting, etc.). We are motivated and able to disseminate the projects we manage.
