Rebel Fleet #34

The Rebel is a 1948 Ray Greene design and was the first production fiberglass sailboat. It is well suited for inland lake sailing with a kick-up rudder and a 42" draft. It uses a crew of one for racing but can carry more for cruising. It is very fast for its weight (700 pounds) in light air because of its long waterline. It is very forgiving with different weight crews and stable for a 16 foot boat. 

LFSC boasts the most combined Rebel National titles (17) of any other club in NRCA history. We exceed the second-most club by 8 titles. LFSC hosted the Rebel National Championship in 2023 for the 6th time on July 13-15, 2023.
