Rebel Fleet #34

The Rebel, designed by Ray Greene in 1948, was the first production fiberglass sailboat. It’s ideal for inland lakes, with a kick-up rudder and a 42" draft. At 16 feet and 700 pounds, it’s fast in light air, forgiving of different crew weights, and stable.

LFSC holds the most Rebel National titles in NRCA history (18), 8 more than the next club. In 2026, LFSC will host the Rebel National Championship for the 7th time.
