MC Scow Fleet #6

The MC Scow fleet is the largest single-handed fleet at LFSC and offers great one-on-one racing. New sailors are always welcome, and experienced members are happy to share tips and coaching. It is a good choice for any skill level. It’s a stable, 16-foot boat that weighs about 420 pounds, is easy to rig, and simple to handle. It’s usually sailed solo, but a second person may join in stronger winds.

Used boats are affordable, and because the class is well regulated, older boats can still be competitive.
