Lagungarri Senior represents a step toward a future where seniors can live actively, independently, and in community. Our mission is to become the first senior cohousing cooperative in Euskadi, a model that promotes well-being, sustainability, and collaboration. Next steps in our path:

1. Growing the Member Community. We continue to work on incorporating new cooperative members, ensuring a generational balance and a vibrant community. Our goal is to create 51 homes full of life.

2. Infrastructure Development. With the support of professionals, we are advancing the design and construction of spaces that combine functionality and comfort, featuring modern apartments and common areas that foster companionship.

3. Economic Sustainability. We are designing an accessible and sustainable economic model where member contributions ensure the project’s viability and reinvestment in its future.

The architectural design of Lagungarri is led by  Javier Arregui, who has developed proposals that integrate functionality, comfort, and sustainability. Every detail of the project reflects our commitment to an active, community-centered lifestyle, from the individual apartments to the common spaces designed to promote interaction and well-being.

Thanks to collaboration with the Grupo Arrasate Taldea, we have secured an exceptional plot of land in Murgia and the support of the local council, which shares our vision of active aging in community.
