Testimonials
María and Pedro (68 and 70 years old) – Senior Cohousing, Madrid
“When we retired, we wanted more than just a house: we were looking for a community to share experiences and stay active. Joining a cohousing project was the best decision. We designed our homes according to our needs and now enjoy activities like yoga, cooking workshops, and outdoor cinema with our neighbors. Here, we’ve found not just a house but a new family.”
Ana (65 years old) – Senior Cohousing, Málaga
“I was always worried about depending on my children in the future. Senior cohousing gave me the opportunity to live independently, surrounded by people with shared interests. Being part of the project planning was very rewarding: all decisions are made as a team, which unites us as a community. Now I know I’m in a safe and happy place.”
Luis (72 years old) – Senior Cohousing, Denmark
“In our community, we look out for each other. The cooperative model is ideal because it’s not just about where we live but how we live. Here, I don’t feel lonely; we all support and learn from one another. It’s an experience I recommend to any senior who wants to live actively.”
