Life-Long Professional Learning

Being a life-long learner is important regardless of your profession, but is extremely important for educators. Why is it extremely important? It is important in remaining relevant and knowing how to utilize constantly changing technology but also in modeling to students the importance of always learning and growing. This portion of 3 Keys to Evolving as a Lifelong Learner really hit the nail on the head, "Futurist Alvin Toffler famously wrote, “The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.” As educators we should be continually evolving in the practice of learning." As educators, we should model the growth mindset of knowing that I don't know everything in this current moment.
