Hi, I am Kelly Walker.

I love my role as Student Services Specialist with Georgia Virtual Learning through the GA Department of Education!

I received my Bachelors in Secondary Science Education from the University of Georgia and my Masters in Special Education from Piedmont College.

I have 20 years of teaching experience, 9 years teaching in-person and 11 years teaching online. During this time I have had the privilege to teach high school science courses, serve as an inclusion science & math special education teacher, write district science curriculum, lead a Freshman Academy, conduct professional development for best practices in the online classroom, and serve students with special needs in various online courses.

Working with students with a myriad of abilities and strengths, I am passionate about personalizing their educational journey to showcase their successes.
