FIRST LEGO League Challenge is designed for students in grades 4–8 and introduces them to competitive robotics through hands-on engineering, programming, and teamwork. Students work together to design, build, and program LEGO-based robots to complete missions on a themed competition field.

WHAT STUDENTS DO
In FLL Challenge, students:
Design and build a LEGO robot
Program the robot to complete missions autonomously
Develop an Innovation Project to solve a real-world problem
Practice teamwork and presentation skills
Compete in local and regional competitions
ROBOT DESIGN
ROBOT DESIGN
Teams design, build, and program a robot to complete as many missions as possible in a timed match. Students focus on precision, efficiency, and strategy to maximize their score.
INNOVATION PROJECT
INNOVATION PROJECT
Each team researches a real-world problem related to the season theme and develops an innovative solution. Teams present their ideas to judges, combining creativity, research, and engineering thinking.
