School Curriculum

The curriculum is based on the North Carolina Standard Course of Study. Cumberland County has a curriculum writing team where teachers and instructional coaches look at the North Carolina Department of Instruction requirements and create pacing guides, lessons and resources for teachers to use. Within the canvas course, teachers and instructional coaches can find what should be taught, when it should be taught, and how it could be taught.
