Conditions for Korean Rubin DRH Status

 By Applying for for Korean Rubin DRH status, you declare that you satisfy and agree to the following conditions and guidelines:

1. I am a KRSC member and agree to comply with its membership guidelines and conditions.

2. I understand the Rubin Data Policy, the General Acceptable Use Policy, and the RSP General Acceptable Use Policy, and understand that the violation of these and other Rubin/LSST policies may result in the revoke of the DRH status. I agree that it is my responsibility to understand and follow these Rubin/LSST policies and guidelines.

3. For Rubin DRH status, I understand that I am required to agree to the KRSC User Agreement (TBA) that is based on the Data Right Agreements signed by AURA/NSF, SLAC/DOE, and KASI on behalf of KRSC. (added in Aug 2025)

4. For PI status, I have a KASI affiliation. If not affiliated with KASI yet, I will acquire KASI visitor researcher status before the confirmation of my DRH PI status. 

5. As a PI status holder, I agree to publish, present, and promote the research results based on the Rubin/LSST data as a KASI affiliated scientist.

6. As a PI status holder, I understand I can support up to four (4) JA scientists and it is my responsibility to supervise/mentor their research, and to keep their information updated and inform the KRSC management group whenever needed.

7. For JA status, I understand I need a senior scientist with DRH PI status who agrees to supervise/mentor my research.

   1. I have a senior scientist with DRH PI status or applying for the PI status, and the scientist agrees to supervise and support me as JA.

   2. [NOT VALID FOR 2025 APPLICATION] OR, I don’t have a senior scientist with DRH PI status yet, and I agree to have the KRSC Management Team’s introduction or mediation to find one. I understand that this process does not necessarily guarantee a successful outcome.

8. I understand that the DRH status is not permanent but it has a limited-term (term is TBD). I agree to respond to the DRH status renewal request when the term is over or the KRSC Management Team requires.
