Rubin Science Platform
You need an account on the Rubin Science Platform (RSP) to access the Rubin LSST data. In RSP, you can analyze the Rubin LSST data with Jupyter noteboks provided by the Rubin Observatory. This guide aims to provide a brief information on how to make an account on the RSP for Data Right Holders (DRHs). Rubin Science Platform에 계정을 만드는 과정을 간단하게 도식으로 보이면 다음과 같습니다. 더 자세한 내용은 위 영문 안내 페이지의 'Step-by-step' 항목을 참조하시기 바랍니다.
[Note#1K] 소속기관인증 단계에서는 천문연 방문연구원이라도 본래 기관소속을 선택하고 인증받으시기 바랍니다. 아래 그림과 같은 화면에서 기관이름을 검색하시기 바랍니다. 해당 기관이름이 없을 때는 ORCiD 또는 GitHub를 이용해서 인증할 수 있습니다.
[Note#1E] For RSP authentication, please select your original institution even if you have KASI visiting scholar status. You can search your institution name in the 'Select an Identity Provider' menu. Or you can use ORCiD or GitHub as your identity provider.
[Note#2K] 인증단계에서는 인터넷 이메일 서비스(예: Gmail, Naver etc.)의 이메일 계정보다는 소속 기관의 이메일 계정을 이용하시기 바랍니다.
[Note#2E] For your identity authentication, please use your institutional email address, rather than other email services, e.g. Gmail, etc.
[Note#3K] 이메일 확인 및 인증 단계에서 'Registry'로부터 이메일을 2번 받게됩니다. 해당 이메일을 받지 못했다면 Spam으로 차단되었는지 확인하시기 바랍니다. 계정 승인은 루빈 천문대 담당자가 직접 확인한 후 처리하므로 하루 이상 시간이 소요될 수 있습니다.
[Note#3E] You will receive e-mails from "Registry" twice during the e-mail verification and final approval process. If you don't receive the e-mails, please take a look at your Spam folder. It may take a day or even longer before you receive final confirmation e-mail.
