Hello! My name is Mrs. Covalt and I am very excited to be back in school this year! This school year will be my 1st year teaching at Karcher and my 3rd year teaching overall. Karcher is very familiar to me as I was once a student here! I graduated from Burlington High School and spent three years subbing in the district.

In May 2021 I graduated from UW-Whitewater with my master's degree in Special Education. Before that, in 2015, I graduated and received my Bachelors in English and Education from Ripon College.

This year I will be teaching 7th grade math and some social studies! Along with teaching, I am the Burlington Varsity Softball Assistant coach! Outside of teaching and coaching, I am a new mom to a spunky little guy named Carson (born in February 2021!), as well as a dog mom to three spoiled golden retrievers! My husband and I love taking all four of our babies on outdoor adventures and traveling to different dog parks in our area :)

I am truly looking forward to working with, and getting to know you all this school year!
