Welcome to 7th grade!! I am so excited to be your teacher this year! I am what is called a "Lifer" here in Burlington. I was born and raised on a farm right outside of Burlington. I graduated from UW - Stevens Point in 2003 with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I enjoyed my time in Steven Point, but my plan was always to return to my hometown. I was thrilled to begin my career at Karcher.

This is my 17th year teaching at Karcher. I currently teach 7th grade Math and Pre- Algebra in the Diamond House. This is a great place to teach because of the wonderful students I get to work with each day. I have a passion for working with kids and believe in teaching kids life skills that will transfer far beyond the walls of middle school.

In additional to teaching, I am involved in extra curricular activities here at Karcher. I am the co-advisor for the Student Council. Teaching leadership skills and helping kids make their ideas for our school become a reality is so fun!

Outside of school, I spend almost all my time with the four amazing people in the picture on the left. My husband, Jeff, and I enjoy taking our kids up north to our cottage and supporting them in all their sporting events. Charlie is nine, Lucy is seven, and Jack is six. They keep me very busy and I am sure I will have lots stories to share about them throughout the school year.
