Hello there 7th grade students and parents! I just wanted to tell you a little about myself since we'll be spending some time together this year.

I am a graduate of UW-LaCrosse where I received a degree in Elementary/Middle Level Education with a minor in Special Education. Right after college, I got married and immediately started working at Karcher Middle School. I taught ELA for ten years while taking courses to finish up my Masters in Education from Viterbo University. Now I am in my 21st year and teaching one of my absolute favorite subjects and passions , Science. Although, I do have to admit, I love math too.

Outside of school, I stay extremely busy with my husband, 4 kids (Kylie, Calvin, Akira, and Kaycie) and teddybear puppy, Milo. My oldest daughter, Kylie, is very involved at WUHS and currently earns some money shopping for online orders at the Burington Pick 'n Save. My son plays baseball on his high school team and 17U at GTS out of Elkhorn. Akira recently gave up dancing competitively to run cross country. My youngest daughter plays on the 14U Blast softball team. Because of their involvement, I am always on the go. In my spare time, which is rare, I enjoy shopping, camping, baking, visiting out-of-state family, attending sporting events, and enjoying the outdoors.

Despite my crazy outside of school life, you can be assured your child's education is a top priority! :)
