Hello everyone! My name is Shalina Osburn, but you can call me Mrs. Oz 😀. This is my 3rd year in education, and my first year at Karcher. I graduated from Evangel University with an emphasis in Music and Education, and finished my Education degree at Columbia College of Lake County. I co-teach English Language Arts (ELA) classes with Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Murphy. I also teach Reading Intervention.

When I am not teaching, you can find me singing, cooking and baking, and/or hanging out with my family. I keep busy with kids sports and also own a charcuterie board business. 

I am so honored and thrilled to be teaching at Karcher Middle School this year!
