Hi parents and students! I look forward to getting to know each of you this year! I am the 7th grade Onyx House Social Studies teacher. I received my Bachelor's degree from UW Parkside, and my Master's degree from Viterbo University in LaCrosse. This is my 20th year teaching here at Karcher. The first of those years I taught Reading, but the last several years I have taught Social Studies, with our focus in 7th grade being Ancient World History.
I live in Waterford with my husband Steve, my daughter Ella, and our two 4-legged family members. Marley our chocolate lab (I'm his favorite) and Arya, our extremely sassy cat. My son Jacob is married and lives in Charlottesville, Virginia with his wife Vanesa. Outside of school I love to spend time with my family, be involved in church activities, watch and do anything Disney related, and travel to warm places!
