To prepare plans and teach a course based on learning theories around content, assessment and pedagogy to a diverse range of students in engineering. Each of these terms has much complexity to them, but I will not unpack them in this definition. 

I became a certified teacher and went through this process for my teaching practicum. I now plan to use what I learned in early engineering courses. I do not use the term first-year engineering because I believe that people learn at their own pace, and someone outside of their first year may feel rushed by this term. 

Since I plan to educate about the territories, I must either know how to teach students or teach teachers from several cultures about engineering. 

This is my strongest competency since I have gone through this process with a mathematics focus. Now it is time to apply what I have learned in engineering.
