The first time that Tamaki saw YaoMomo his world slowed. She was leading some exercise in training, eyes shining brightly in the afternoon sun. It was hard to think, hard to breathe just seeing here there in so much splendour.

He would realise, later, that that should have been the first clue. 

Yaoyorozu Momo always knew that she was unlikely to be permitted to marry for love. The daughter of a fine house, the heiress to an enviable estate, it was simply a fact that she would marry for suitability and station over anything else.

But despite her upbringing, Momo was a romantic, and she held out hope for the love match that her whole life she had been told she was not destined to have.
