When the building that Sero and Iida are working in suddenly collapses in an unprecedented earthquake they find themselves dangling high in the wreckage from cables that they daren’t touch just in case.

They’re left, hanging there together, awaiting recovery.

When the train that they are both riding breaks down unexpectedly in the middle of nowhere Sero and Iida find themselves alone in a carriage together. For years they have been riding the same train, in those same seats, searching for a reason to talk to the other.
