This marking creates irregular small stripes/spots, forming a shape remembering a chessboard.

In its dominant form it can extend further on wings, head and belly.

This marking is really similar to lizards' back

ALLOWED EDGES

Can be darker but of any darker color!

Recessive (nCh)

Chess is basically a more texturize and blotchy version of Oil, you start witha big patch and proceed erasing holes in it, addint spots and blobs, connecting the erased holes and so on. Some areas can be more thick than others (meaning can display no holes )

The marking is basically a swiss cheese with many holes, here a wip to show you the process

Some areas can have no holes, but do not exaggerate!, most of the marking should look holey-blotchy)

In dominant the marking can have some rows of cells filled with a lighter color (any color is possible as long as its lighter than the marking itself!)
