Photo on the left:  To Elsie from her sister Minnie Heilman:  Here’s a picture of a bunch of us.  Alton is the little fellow.  Lorna with her hand on a dog.  Mrs. Thorp and me sitting higher up.  We’ve all got crabs.  We got 86 that day and if you’ll look real close you can see Fred’s back and Mr. Thorp on the side of Alton as they were watching the kettle.  Alton is four here and Lorna 12 years.  This is taken by a river near where we live.  (in Oregon)
