I'm studying how spatio-temporal variations in sexual selection and ecological factors modify allometric patterns in head width and abdomen size in P.dorsalis using long-term census data.
Using microsatellites for genotyping, I look at reproductive fitness and trait relationships to understand how complex selection environments shape trait distribution patterns.
Behavioural experiments and field observations are also part of my work, where I further investigate how trait investment patterns determine behavioural repertoire.
Interests: Sexual selection, behaviour, evolution of animal colourations
Past work: Prior to joining CES, I completed my BS-MS degree in Biological Sciences from IISER Pune.
