I have a BSc degree in Zoology from Miranda House, that's where I discovered my interest in Evolutionary Biology and Molecular Biology. My MSc degree in Biotechnology (from MSU Baroda) gave me exposure to research in Molecular Biology.

I joined Kavita Isvaran Lab to gain research experience in Evolutionary Biology, focusing on Behavioural ecology and Life history trade-offs. I am looking at the effects of ecological stressors such as predation and competition on different life-stages of Aedes aegypti and trying to connect them to its disease transmission potential.

When I am not in the lab, I roam around the IISc campus with my friends, dance or play ultimate Frisbee
