I studied sexual selection and personality in wild populations of Psammophilus dorsalis

As a joint Ph.D. student with Prof. Kavita Isvaran and Prof. Vishwesha Guttal, I am studying the evolution of migration in birds

I study animal personality through meta-analyses to decipher links between personality and ecological factors that drive maintenance of personality. I also explore how selection pressures influence personality in the South Indian Rock Agamid lizard.

I am broadly interested in the chemical and behavioural ecology of insects. I'm planning to investigate factors affecting mosquito dispersal and mate choice.

My research revolves around early life conditioning in Dengue mosquito and its impact on functional traits of adult mosquitoes, which help them to spread disease.
