I joined the lab in 2019 and worked on uncovering how selection pressures influences individual variation in behavioural traits. My focus was statistical quantification of this variation through a secondary data analysis of the agamid dataset from 2011-2017. I was working on a meta-analysis of personality traits before discontinuing in 2024.
Background
I did a B.Tech in Information Technology from SSN College of Engineering, Chennai and a M.Sc. in Ecology and Environmental Sciences from Pondicherry University. During my Masters, I worked on the plant semi-parasite Dendrophthoe falcata under the guidance of Dr. N. Parthasarathy.
While struggling to find a good fit for me, I explored developing code with Zoho Corporation, Ericsson India Global Services, teaching with Teach for India, volunteering with Environmentalist Foundation of India, Chennai Trekking Club and doing a PG Diploma in Sustainable Sciences at Bhoomi College in Bangalore.
I worked with Dr. Akanksha Rathore in Prof. Vishwesha Guttal's lab as a Project Assistant on lekking in blackbucks before joining Kavita Isvaran's lab.
