What You Should (Not) Buy During The Outbreak

The corona virus outbreak has caused many people to take stocking up on supplies to a whole new level. This might not be the best approach to purchasing provisions for when the coronavirus pandemic is in full swing. Many stores you will find have no toilet paper, face masks, and hand sanitizer because people have raided stores for them, as they believe that people will have to stock up to survive. This, however, is not the case. You should not buy face masks. Most of the supplies you would buy will go to waste.

What Should You Buy?

With so many food items, it is hard to know what to buy in this time of crisis. As said before, try to avoid stocking up on a gross amount of items.

Try to choose canned and dry products such as canned beans and dry soups, canned meats, like corned beef and spam, crackers, cereal, and anything shelf-stable. Try to use good judgement. Make sure you have at least 2 weeks of dry food. That way, you can save the foods for a long time even after the outbreak or just until you need it. It is also good to stock up on any medications you will need or are taking. Make sure you care for others too. Try to get food for your pets as well
