Keep Learning

The corona virus has taken a toll kids' lives. At the time of this essay, it is around 10:30 AM (EST). I would normally be at school now, but to keep us safe, schools around the country have shut down.

Obviously we have to have an education. So what do we do?

Some teachers will give you work over the break. This is good! It means you won't have as much work coming back into the school system.

However, if your teachers do not give you work, there are alternatives.

As a start, try to get into a school-like rhythm. Try getting up at around 8-9, and give yourself a schedule to work from. Khan Academy has a good schedule. If you need a schedule, this is a good link.

I would recommend Khan Academy above all other sites, because they have an inventory of various math and science courses that explain topics very well.

If you are looking for a less serious, more game-like way to do math, Cool Math is a site on which you play games to learn

Remember, coronavirus does not mean you cannot continue having fun and learning.
