Atmospheric Perspective at NIGHT

Regardless of whether the landscape you're painting is set during the daytime or at night, the rules of Atmospheric Perspective are the same.

Below are some good examples of Atmospheric Perspective seen in night time scenes.

Notice how as object go further back in space their attributes still change to be:

• Lighter in value

• Less Contrast

• Less Saturated

• Cooler in hue

• Less detail/visible texture
