Kasey Hayes participated in University of Illinois Urbana-Champagne Art & Design Micro Residency for Educators! Through this residency, educator-artists from a broad range of disciplines live, work, and collaborate to push the boundaries of their practices. Faculty art and design mentors guide resident artists through critiques, offer challenges, make presentations, provide demonstrations, and engage in one-on-one sessions. A public exhibition culminates the experience.
Kasey Hayes spends her summers working as an art instructor for a non-profit called Art On Sedgwick This organizations goal is to inspire Chicago teens to discover their passions, develop skills for life beyond high school. This Art Center collaborates with After School Matters.
