Saturday Oct 11: Technology Day / Pizza Luncheon
In the morning from 9am-noon we will have a “Saturday Technology Day” which will focus on programming HT/Mobile rigs and answering any technology questions you may have. We will have cables and software – bring your laptops and HTs and we will set you up with common local frequencies in the 2m, 70cm and 1.25m bands. We will meet at the Jr. Mechanics building in Vincentown, 80 Main Street (Red Brick Building Store Front middle of the Village, with a white globe hanging above the door) parking is available behind the building at Sawmill Park in town.
Following that we will get together from 1pm – 3pm for a club Pizza lunch at “Angelo’s Pizza Place” at 200 Larchment Blvd, Mt. Laurel, NJ. Look for this shop in the small shopping center with the Wawa.

October 20, 7pm Members Meeting
We will be meeting at the regular time & place (7pm @ Lord of Life Church, Tabernacle) and will have 2 interesting items on the agenda:
Using nano VNA to measure Coax Length (Joe)
Annual October White Elephant Sale (Jack)
Bring your gently used but unwanted gear and items to the sale, and Jack WA2RHJ will auction it to the members. You may set a minimum price, or just let it go! Proceeds go to the owner (but donations to the club graciously accepted too!). No signup needed for this one! Just show up!
The Burlington County Radio Club normally meets the 3rd Monday of the month at:
Lord of Life Lutheran Church
1 Winchester Court
Tabernacle, NJ 08088
The meeting starts at 7:00 pm with social time before and after the meeting.
ATTENTION NEW HAMS: Someone is available to answer questions. We can also try to help you out with your current handheld transceiver (HT). Make a point to raise your questions during the regular meeting to get them addressed.
Visitors always welcome!
K2TD VHF Net: Join us every Sunday at 7:00 pm on the Burlington County ARES/RACES repeater (147.15 +0.6 pl 127.3)
This net serves as a weekly check-in and information sharing session for all members and interested amateurs.
Access is easy with an HT and that is all the radio you need. Those new technician licensees with a small hand held radio can easily join the net. Check-in is easy; when you hear net control call for check-ins just say your call and name. This is an excellent way to start cultivating your Emergency Communications (EmComm) skills, too!
