The Pine Hill repeater (146.865 -0.600Mhz, PL/CTSS: 131.8hz) will be taken off line near the end of July as crews will be working on painting the water tower and other maintenance. Consequently operation of K2UK will cease as of July 21st.
Thanks to SJRA club member Rick Conner who will be involved in this operation, our antenna and hardline will be carefully removed and stored while the work is being done and he will reinstall everything once the work is completed.
Rick anticipates that the work will require at least 3 months so during this time all SJRA NETs will be shifted to K2AA (145.290 -0.600Mhz / PL/CTSS: 91.5hz). NETs manager Jack, WA2HJG will be in charge of coordinating this plan.
While this is of course inconvenient, we can rest assured we are in safe hands with Rick supervising all operations concerning our repeater’s antenna removal and re installation.
Rick, W2JAZ
