18-Hole League from April to October
at Juniper Hill Golf Course in Northborough, MA
The league championship starts this week. We have two weeks of play spanning both courses:
August 18 on Riverside
August 25 on Lakeside
There is no sign-up required -- just participation in both weeks. There will be a low-gross and low-net prize for each flight. The handicaps currently displayed will be used for both weeks.
As a note, if you are playing in the championship, holes must be played out completely with no picking up after 8 strokes. Picking up will result in a disqualification from the tournament. Those that are not competing in the championship (e.g., only playing one of the weeks), may pick up after 8 strokes marking an X on the card resulting in a 9 for that hole.
During these 2 weeks, there will be no other game of the week, but everyone is eligible for birdies and chip-ins. You can use the score on your ringer card.
Good luck to the competitors!
Charity Day is September 1. We will be collecting donations of cash and checks made out to NEADS.
You can sign up for a week or multiple weeks at a time. The deadline for sign-up is the Friday before the league play at 6pm. You can still sign up for the last week in August.
September weeks are now available. Note that two of our weeks will be on Wednesday instead of Tuesday -- September 16 and 23 league days are on Wednesday.
After the round, you need to post your scores in GHIN, preferably the day you play.
We also have an opportunity to win prizes for the Ringer Card. Each week you enter your scores into the Ringer Card spreadsheet and it automatically computes the best you did on each hole.
Did you get a birdie? Did you chip it into the hole from off the green? Celebrate it by entering it on the Eagles, Birdies, and Chip-Ins page to win a prize at the end of the season.
