On Tuesday 9th July 47 male and female athletes were selected to participate in the Tameside Sports Championships at Sports City Manchester.

Learners were selected following the success of their track and field skills assessed during core PE lessons and competed against students from secondary schools across Tameside.

From September we are delighted to unveil our new Longdendale PE kit and look forward to seeing all our year 7’s wearing it with pride in the new school year. Years 8-11, this will be phased in for the rest of the school but any new PE or Dance items are to be replaced with the new uniform from September 2019.
