Miss Rogers, Miss Hulston, Mr Staniforth and Mr Hulley took a mixture of learners from year 8 to 10 on a fantastic trip to Normandy in France. This trip was jam packed with cultural experiences, which made the long coach journey worth it! Learners visited the quaint town of Honfleur, a goat’s cheese farm and a chocolate factory. Learners also visited a French market and Leclerc, a French ‘hypermarché’ where they were able to stock up on souvenirs. One evening, we had a trip to a beach, thanks to our bus driver, Paddy, who was the best driver we could have asked for! Paddy’s discos on the bus were a strong highlight! We also visited Bayeux where learners completed a challenge around the centre, following this; we all went to see the impressive Bayeux tapestry. We had a guided tour of this and we were able to hear the story as we followed it around.
