2019 school production is called ‘Land of Oz’. Learners have been working extremely hard rehearsing, learning lines and collaborating together. Miss Wither has directed the school production this year and has been so impressed by the maturity of the cast and the creative ideas. This is Miss Withers debut production at Longdendale and it will be our youngest cast we have had and they are all very excited to be performing.

Mrs Waters has kindly come back to support us vocally training the learners to perform their solos and the band have been rehearsing and arranging the live music. Mrs Healey-Wilde has been training the selected dancers with challenging and creative choreography to support the visual master piece.

As special previews we have our Chinese visitors coming to watch the production, adults with disabilities from the ‘Glossop Arts Project’ and our local feeder primary schools. This builds even greater links in our community on a local and global scale.
