Going into the funeral home industry is something that most people wouldn't do because when you hear that someone is going to college to become a mortician to help people the time of grief you most definitely get a funny look from just about anyone but then you have people who say well someone has to do lol. Coming into a business where it is usually seen as a man's job or men can do it better, I have my head held high and can proudly say that no gender, no race, and no inconveniences will stop me from achieving my dream to become a mortician and later on in life opening my own funeral home, maybe several. As I am finishing up my last year of undergrad, I am ready to further my education by going to the Cincinnati College of mortuary science once I am there I will get the full-on experience and be ready with open arms to help bereaved families.
