It is an opportunity for students to create a project that aligns with real world practice. Students have an advisor and work on a project.

Students will use all of the core competencies in this course. These competencies include critical and ethical thinking. Students will also need to work with others and make sure and have proper time management to complete the project.

I was able to use everything that I learned in other courses on my professional project. For instance, working with others in a professional fashion. In addition, I worked directly with the Town of Hatch to build them a Master Road Plan.

Working with a Town in Southern Utah on my own was meaningful because I was able to connect with the individuals within the institution and create a meaningful project.
