Exclusive development of two luxury residences in Oxshott, West London, completed in 2025
Located in the heart of a sought-after estate in Oxshott, West London, close to the Chelsea Football Club training grounds, this project comprised the redevelopment of a former vacant site previously occupied by a 1930s three-bedroom bungalow set within generous grounds.
The existing dwelling was demolished to make way for two high-quality, three-storey luxury new-build homes designed to meet the demands of contemporary living. The development places a strong emphasis on energy efficiency and sustainability, incorporating enhanced thermal insulation, low-energy heating and cooling systems, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure in line with current Building Regulations.
Biodiversity mitigation measures were carefully addressed and implemented as part of the scheme, ensuring the development responds responsibly to its environmental context while delivering modern, high-specification homes.

I played a key role in the technical and commercial coordination of high-end homes from detailed design through to construction, supporting cost control and commercial decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. Alongside managing multidisciplinary consultant teams and overseeing detailed technical design, I assisted with material selection, specification, and procurement to ensure quality, compliance, and alignment with budgets and cost plans. I supported the appointment and management of specialist subcontractors by contributing to scope definition, tender reviews, technical and commercial appraisals, and coordination of design responsibilities. Working closely with commercial and site teams, I helped assess design changes and variations, resolve technical queries, manage risk, and maintain buildability, programme efficiency, and value for money, ensuring the successful delivery of bespoke, high-specification residences.
Coordinated the provision of new services, including electricity, water, and telecommunications, assessing cost implications, procurement routes, and programme impacts to ensure integration with the overall design and construction programme.
Reviewed and supported the discharge of planning conditions in collaboration with the design team, local authorities, and specialist consultants, considering cost, risk, and programme implications.
Checked and approved steel fabrication drawings to ensure compliance with structural design intent, buildability, site constraints, and alignment with agreed budgets and cost plans.
Reviewed and approved technical designs from specialist manufacturers, including floor systems and roofing packages, evaluating commercial impact, scope compliance, and coordination with architectural and structural requirements.
Undertook detailed reviews of architectural and engineering drawings to assess constructability, identify design and cost risks, and contribute to value engineering solutions aligned with construction cost, procurement strategy, and programme objectives.
For this project, I was involved in the financial and contractual management of a residential construction development, including reviewing and complying with cost plans and budgets, assisting with the procurement of subcontractors and material orders, and valuing work in progress to ensure the development remained within the approved budget. My involvement also included reviewing contracts, assessing variations, monitoring construction risks, and resolving technical and commercial issues within financial constraints as they arose during construction. Throughout the project, I worked closely with site managers, designers, and suppliers to maintain programme delivery, cost control, and compliance with UK development approvals, construction regulations, and company procedures.
