The Pioneers

Description & Inspiration:

These artworks are inspired by the voyages of the Vikings pioneers, who sailed thousands of miles in their longboats to settle new in lands.

The artwork is made from Corten steel, which is a steel alloy. It has been developed to eliminate the need for painting and forms a stable rust-like appearance after exposure to weather.

Installation of the artwork in your garden is easy – the larger Pioneers come with a detachable metal stand which fits into the ground.

The smaller ones can be screwed down, ideal for fixing to patios or decking. Wooden mounting blocks for the smaller ones are available.
